What a great weekend! Many exciting events to report, the first of which is so ridiculous/fabulous that I can't believe I'm about to type it:

Non and I (along with a group of friends) went to see a porn movie. In a theater. In Palo Alto. And not just any porn movie... a 3-D porn movie. I mean, come on! How could I *not* go?!? "The Lollipop Girls in, 'Hard Candy'". It was a cheezy 70's movie with a frighteningly wandering plot with only about 15% of actual porn, 100% of which was about as sexually enticing as a root canal. But, we all got to keep the red and blue paper glasses. Also, there was one scene that had John Holmes in it. And all I gotta say is... he could put an eye out with that thing.

Non's co-ed city softball league won the championship on Sunday. It was a very close game that shouldn't have been very close, but they won and that's really what matters. Wait, what actually should matter is that they had fun, which they did, but winning was also a pretty fun thing. Afterwards, we all went to a local sports bar where the waitress avoided us like eboli. But, we eventually ate and drank and talked and laughed and promised to stay in shape in the off season (of course, as I was simply a spectator, I didn't promise anything).

In other news, I finished the book I was reading, and which I highly recommend, Getting Over It, by Anna Maxted. It's chicklit, and I loved it. On to the next!
