Tonight is a bustle of laundry and cleaning and packing and planning and checking and double-checking and deciding and combining. Yep, vacation... we're a comin'.

It seems sort of surreal to be going to New York City. Manhattan -- a borough, I'm told -- is only cemented in my mind from watching countless episodes of Sex and the City, and even then, I'm only assuming that's what it'll be like-ish.
