First order of business: HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY SISTER! It's her birthday today, and even though she is 3000 miles away, I hope she knows I'm thinking of her and wishing her a fab day.

I woke up feeling blah again today - not bad, necessarily, but not good. The worst part about it is that NOTHING sounds good to eat. Even when I had the morning sickness at its worst, there was always something that sounded good. Yesterday and today, not so much. Of course, that hasn't kept me from eating a sliced banana with some peanut butter.

The other thing I've been dealing with today is our vacation. We booked a 6-night cruise several months ago, set to sail this Sunday. This morning we found out the cruise has been changed to a 4-night cruise due to passengers getting gastrointestinal distress on board, and they are taking an extra 2 days to disinfect the entire thing.

My first thought: EEEEWWWWW.

My second thought: At least they're doing something about it.

We also booked our airfare with them, and they are offering to either rebook us two days later, or keep our airfare and they will put us up in a beach front hotel for the extra 2 nights. Kiddies, it only took me looking up the hotel website to jump at the chance and say yes to that deal. Also? They're refunding 50% of our cruise cost back and offering an additional 50% cruise within the next calendar year. Not too shabby. I'm on hold right now to ask just WHEN that $$ will be refunded. If soon, like by the time Sunday hits, Non and I can live it up in Fort Lauderdale for the 2 days and take full advantage of staying at a resort hotel. If not, we'll still have a great, if a bit less luxurious, time.

All I want to do today is sit around in my sweats (that part I'm accomplishing), taking care of this vacation thing and alternately napping and watching tv. The whole working from home thing throws that plan off, as I actually need to *work* at some point. Now, actually.
